Lilytopia pattern is available

The Lilytopia Shawl pattern has been posted to SharonSilverman.com.

Now I get to play with another colourway of Blue Heron’s Egyptian mercerized cotton! Maybe a half-circle shawl...or a scarf...or a lacy pullover... I love it when there are no bad choices!

“Set My Picot Free” Award!

I got a wonderful surprise today: notification that the Florine Empire Waist Shell I designed for Louet North America in Tunisian crochet won the “Set My Picot Free Award for Outstanding Crochet Design” from the Crochet Liberation Front blog.

The award says, “...This is a perfect example of how finished and polished crochet can look.” I’m honored that one of my designs was recognized for this award, and I hope it inspires people to try Tunisian crochet.
